Kanishka Gupta is a literary agent based in New Delhi, India. He represents a diverse range of highly accomplished debut authors, as well as award-winning authors of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. Among them is Daisy Rockwell, the winner of the 2022 International Booker Prize. Some of his other prominent writers include Avni Doshi, shortlisted for the Booker Prize; Jerry Pinto, recipient of the Windham-Campbell Prize for both novels and poetry; Anees Salim, a multi-award-winning novelist; B. Jeyamohan, a Tamil writer; Lindsay Pereira; Ranjit Hoskote; and Rijula Das, among others.
Kanishka also had the privilege of closely collaborating with Shehan Karunatilaka, the winner of the 2022 Man Booker Prize. He represents Shehan’s new and forthcoming book in South Asia.
