Dasho Kesang Wangdi is the Deputy Chairman of the Privy Council of Bhutan, a position he has held since 2024. He also chairs the Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation and the Snowman Run, reflecting his commitment to environmental and cultural initiatives. With expertise in science, economics, and international relations, Mr. Wangdi joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1982 and has served as Ambassador to several countries, including Thailand and Australia. His leadership experience includes a tenure as Cabinet Secretary, where he contributed to the Gross National Happiness Commission. In addition to his official roles, Mr. Wangdi has a passion for classical music, philosophy, and martial arts. He has received notable honors, including the Coronation Gold Medal and the Royal Civil Service Gold Medal from His Majesty the King.
