Nyema Zam

Nyema Zam is the founder and CEO of Samuh, Bhutan’s first OTT Platform. A communication and media specialist with over two decades of experience in the broadcast and media sector, today she works at the intersection of art, entertainment, and technology. She is passionate about the creative sector and believes in the unique potential of Bhutanese films, stories, and music to reach a much wider global audience. She is the winner of UK RISE Business Awards 2022 and Ngultrum Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2022.  Her startup Samuh is the winner of the ‘The best initiative to grow local Industry’ Makers & Shakers Award UK 2022 and JICA Global Awards 2022. She is an Australian Awards Alumni and has a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Western Australia.
